Understanding the ART Act

The Lok Sabha passed the Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Bill, 2021 (ART Bill) on December 1, 2021. The Bill, which was first introduced in September 2020, aims to regulate ART clinics. Every ART clinic and bank must be registered with the National Registry of Banks and Clinics of India, according to the bill. Dr. Kamini Rao, a pioneer in the field of assisted reproduction in India, will speak about the Assisted Reproductive Technology Act, guidelines, patient rights, and the rights of the child born through ART, among other topics.
