Jul 21, 2:00 PM

Treatment for oncological disorders may have an adverse effect on fertility. The potential for fertility preservation in cancer patients has recently come to the forefront due to the parallel and ongoing advancements in both the management of oncology and reproductive problems. Oncologists must be aware of circumstances in which cancer patients' fertility will be impacted by their therapy, as well as the avenues open to them for operations like cryopreservation of gametes and/or embryos. There are obvious challenges that still remain to be resolved, especially in the area of fertility preservation in prepubertal patients.Join live with Dr. Meenu Walia on Medflix as she discusses every aspect of fertility preservation in cancer patients.
